Locating this palace in Den Haag was pretty tough but we were determined to find it because it looked very nice on the post card that we saw. Hehe. Sure enough it was really nice. Every country in the world contributed something in the construction of this building, thus promoting peace among all nations. For example, the clock at the bell tower was contributed by Switzerland. Makes me wonder: What did the Philippines contribute?

ang galing, para ring postcard yung kuha mo ;) hanap ka ng kalat o basura sa paligid ng building na yan, sigurado pinoy may gawa nun bwehehe!
I'd like to think that we contributed something really nice. after all, this was built during the early 1900's. meaning, we were such a young nation back then. a nation who has just won freedom from the spanish conquistadors. naive yet hopeful and determined. it's just sad to see what we have come to be.
